What we do on the call

1. The number you cannot cross. Every lane has one, it is different in every lane, and it moves. Where to find yours, and why paying above it means the deal was already lost before you did anything else.
2. The three places people get the comp wrong. The comp is the whole game and almost everybody reads it from the wrong place. Asking price is not a comp. One sold listing is not a comp either.
3. What I check, in order. On a pallet, on a case of sneakers, and on an Amazon lot. Three different checklists, because a manifest lies in a different way than a size run does.
4. What makes me walk away. The specific things that make me pass on a deal that looks fine on paper, including the one that cost me the most money to learn.

There is no income claim on this call and there will not be one. I am not going to tell you what you will make, because I do not know and neither does anybody who says it. What you will leave with is a number you can check a deal against.
